Thank you everyone! I'll pass your wishes on. It's funny how her red VW Golf was constantly noticed amongst a sea of silver SUVs in the parking lot. Over the years many asked, "Who drives that cute little red car?".

Nothing of artistic merit here, just a quick snapshot (so as to avoid a salesman

) of a 2022 VW Mk8 GTI SE in Moonstone Grey, especially for crashton. We're both VW GTI fans and with the global vehicle shortage, seeing an Mk8 anywhere is somewhat difficult.

I have seen Ferrari's & Lamborghini's in my area. I have not yet seen a MK8 GTI.

The first car that I bought was a 1953 Chevy - 4 door sedan, straight 6 engine with 3 on the tree. I paid a whopping $50 for it in 1960. I was generously endowed with rust courtesy of winter's salted roads in New England. Yesterday, I saw this beauty at a car show - also a '53 albeit a 2 door model. It brought back fond memories of that rusty old car - it wasn't pretty but I was 16 years old and it was all mine.
