old manual lens

This is wide angle section. I was wondering. There is hardly any focusing required for wide angle. It is doable with manual focus lens if they are cheaper. Have any of you guys use any old manual focus lens for wide angle on fx body? I am looking at 10 mm with f4 max lens.

10mm for FX is way way wide IMHO. To me, wider than 14 produces results that I find un-pleasing. If you are looking for a wide FX, the Rokinon 14 2.8 is well reviewed and not too expensive when you compare it to the Zeiss 15 which is more expensive than the first car I bought... :)

10mm? F/4? FX coverage? Good luck! IIRC, the Sigma 12-24/4.5-5.6 is the widest rectilinear full-frame available in an F mount currently manufactured.

Thank you again. No hurry for a wide angle lens yet. Will use my 24 -120 mm F4 first by switching and see things go. Focus on shooting and maximising this body rather than collecting lenses.
