After buying the 750 I dont have much left to spend on a landscape lens for a while. Been researching this lens and it doesnt look half bad. I can get one used for around 350 bucks. This could hold me over for a while , so I can save up for the 20mm afs 1.8 lens.

I'm using this lens a lot when walking around and can't be arsed to carry two or three primes.

She does a good job. The majority of my latest landscape shots have been taken with this lens. You can check them out to see what she delivers (on the D810).

Thanks J-see. I've been looking at some shots on Flickr done with the 750 and the 18-35mm. looks pretty darn nice.

For the money she costs, I can't complain. I have been thinking a while about the 16-35mm instead but in the end, for landscape 16 or 18 doesn't matter that much since you'll probably end up buying a 14mm anyways.

So I got the 18-36mm and the Samyang 14mm f/2.8 for about the same price as the 16-35mm. The second allows me to take the wide shots and the f/2.8 is handy for night photography.

20-35 f/2.8 is a pretty nice lens if you've got a screw drive camera. This is a pretty famous lens that use to be in every pro's bag. If you're patient you can steal one on ebay. Thousands upon thousands of photos in newspapers and magazines have been taken with this lens.
