Can you manage?

I need to take a break. Mum was rushed into hospital last week, and we dont know whats wrong... they are doing tests but nobody seems to know whether the pain she is in is from her cancer spreading, or something else. They keep increasing her morphine, and right now to my uneducated eyes, things arent looking the best

I will understand if you want to replace me.

Sorry to here about your mum, she is in hospital so they can keep an eye on her, and keep her comfortable,

Make sure you look after yourself as well, and be strong for your mum and your family.

Thanks everyone... such was my upset the other day when I posted, I thought I had posted it privately.

Mum is still in hospital, and still very much in pain. The doc now thinks the cancer is spreading very quickly... she's in better spirits than I... shes a very strong woman mentally. The doc has given her the option of trying more chemo, but needs an answer on Tuesday as the chemo cannot wait another week
