That changes things a bit lol. The 16-85 is the best all round lens available for Nikon DX.
I would still recomend the 55-200 here though. Its realy cheap, but despite being cheap it puts in
a realy seriously decent performance at all focal lenghs and apratures that even the more expensive stuff cant match.
200mm on apsc still gives you a pretty decent 300mm angle of veiw. Unless your determined to go to 300mm of course.
Most zooms that run to 300mm always perform rather poorly at the 300mm end of the range though.
There might be one out there that breaks the rule but my knowledge ends at 200mm Im afraid.
If you can stretch your money a little further, I highly recomend the tamron 70 200 F2.8. Again... 200mm though
