I finally pulled the trigger on my Tamron SP 70-200 f/2.8 Di VC Lens. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.I have done alot of research before making this large purchase and thanks to you guys, I feel I have made a solid decision.

You have chosen wisely; that lens has been a *superb* shooter on both my D750 and my D7100.

If you only shoot telephoto even a fraction of the time, you won't have any regrets with your purchase. It's one of the most satisfying lenses I've ever owned. Congrats!

Lens is here!!! Hopefully it will not be raining tomorrow and I will post a few shots. But in the meantime, What type of bag are you guys using? I have a lowpro slingshot 200 and it seems a bit small for my D7100 and the tamron 70-200. Thanks in advance

The choice of bag is a very personal one, but I entered bag NIRVANA recently with the Manfrotto Backpack 50. Everything I wanted, nothing I didn't.

I bought the ThinkTank City Walker 20 at the same time I bought my lens. LOve this bag - works out great and holds the VC with ease.

I use a Lowepro Flipside 300... fits my D300s, 70-200, 35/50mm and another medium tele lens with flash and other necessities. But bags are definitely a selective item, and you should go out and try out as many as you can.

The 70-200 is the 'as soon as I win the lottery, I gotta get me one of those' lens I want to get. :) So unless someone donates one to me, it ain't gonna happen any time soon! lol :)
