The Sigma 70-200mm 2.8 APO DG HSM OS just blows me away. I put it on D7100 and WOW.

I used the Sigma APO 2X teleconverter on this Egret.I can't get over the detail. The only so called draw back is the weight. If you get the chance try this lens,I highly recommend it.

It was really hard to get close to this bird in the swamp.I put the Sigma 2X teleconverter on the 70-200 and made the shot.

Wow! These are some great photos. I had my eye on the Tamaron 70-200mm but I think I need to try the Sigma. Thanks for the info.

Nice shots. I`m really tempted to go for one of these and off load my Nikkor 70-300.
The Nikon equivalent is way out of my potential budget but I think I could justify the outlay on the Sigma.

This lens and the Tamron 24-70 2.8 now on my shopping list.

That plan went out the window when I bought Stevie Nicks, and now my Tokina 11-16.

My business plan is out the window too. I had ordered the 24-70 mm 2.8, and yesterday, the day before it was supposed to show up, the company said they are currently out of stock on them. I was buying a refurbished one, and was getting a great deal on it. Now, it's either buy a new one (about $400 more) or wait to find a good used one, or wait a month on the 'possibility' of another refurbbed one. First, my money is tied up by paypal, and I'm waiting for the money to be credited back to my credit card. Damn, I hate e-bay because of hassles like this. But, my corporate vision stays strong, and my business plan is on track, just derailed for now. Happy to see you've acquired the Tokina 11-16....you will love the views it will give you, I'm sure! Tell Stevie, I said hi.....from Grace Slick! The real queen of rock 'n roll!
