I had an old blue chevy pickup onetime...it had the ubiquitous round red marine corp sticker in the back window when I got it...I left it there because marines are alright I guess... :)

For the first couple of years it was weird...when driving this truck all these guys would pull up beside be everywhere in the city on the highway and they would blast their horns and clench their fists and wave and always with a big grin on their faces...I thought what in the hell is going on??? Then one day this old codger in like a cadillac came up on my bumper real fast on the highway...he started blaring his horn and flashing his lights and as he passed I swear I think he was trying to high five me...then I notice that little red round sticker sticker on his back window and his marine corp tag and marine corp tag frame and then it dawned on me...

All of these crazy son of a bucks for last few years are doing all of this because of that sticker!!! I just thought I was cool or something...glad I never got stopped by a squid...

LOL

My son loves it too but just out of boot camp and combat training they're gung-ho, that'll change!
At least he's got a job and now a future.
