I'm going to have a go at this challenge as well. I'm not planning on putting any limitations on myself with gear as I'm still in the process of accumulating lenses (I know everybody is, but I'm still new to Nikon) and I'm going to want to use them all.

I'm going to use the list on Nikonites and aim for one a week in no particular order. With my work I don't always get the chance to get out so I'm not holding myself to that, just as long as i get them all done before the end. As time permits and the year goes on (and hopefully the skills improve) I may revisit some of the themes that I liked or may feel that I could improve on, and re-shoot.

The list

Thanks Scott and Tracey, had fun with this one. Been waiting all week for the sky to look a little more dramatic, but unfortunately the weather never turned. Might go back some other time and try again ;)

Week 2 - Diagonals

I was thinking of doing arches this week and following the list order, but then I found this scene and instantly I thought diagonals. I have driven past this location almost every day for around 6 months, but this was the first time I've ever noticed all the cranes facing the same way.
