As some of you know, I live in a small (7500) town in NW Connecticut. My son and his wife live in Manhattan. I love both areas, so may of these photos will be a contrast between the two.

Although my son live only a few hundred yards from the 911 Memorial, It was our first time going to see this. It is absolutely heartbreaking to walk through here. Very quiet, and a very emotional atmosphere. People were openly weeping, and being comforted by total strangers. I've never seen anything like this. If you decide to go, just be prepared to be overcome with sadness in this tribute to one of the darkest days in our countries history.
