Blacktop's journey with photography and a song.

I think I'll join the fun. These will be shot with the D3100 unless I upgrade to a D300, D9310:p or a D7xxx before the end of the year.
Let's see if I improve in the next 7 months.

There will be lots of flower shots, wild creatures, and a bunch of 18 wheeler shots from work.
There will be no nude selfies. I know...Everyone is disappointed, but you're just going to have to get over it.:p

Don't worry about the camera. It's not the camera that makes it, it is the person behind the camera. When I joined this forum in December 2012, I was using a D3000. I now also have a D7000, but I still use the D3000 often. It is small, light, and takes very good photos, albeit, not with the resolution of the D7000, but I have gotten a lot of very good photos from that camera. You don't have to apologize. Just go out, take photos, and have fun.

P.S.: Please leave the naked selfies for Facebook postings. HaHa! :)

Starting out with a simple squirrel shot. I have spent half the day sitting around the bird feeder to take some bird shots, when this guy shows up.

Got a bird too.

I might switch to a plain wooden bird feeder. That bright red color might be scaring them off. I noticed that only small birds will come. The larger ones just fly by for some reason and never land to eat.

Red actually attracts birds. But most larger birds are insect eaters or not really feeder birds. Build a tray feeder. Leave seed out in the tray and the larger birds may come. Also put our oranges if you can.

Got plenty of oranges. the wife buys them for me to eat healthy, but I just snack on cookies and leave the oranges.

Great start to your 365!

I tried setting my d7100 with the WU-1a wireless adapter up at my parent's bird table, and taking the pictures from just inside the house.... The wireless adapter range is too weak :(

Looks like you had much more luck!

"Monday monday, can't trust that day!" This song is playing in my head, as I stop to get the truck fueled.

Feelin' better. A 20 ounce Dunkin Donut coffee in the morning brighten things up a bit.

Someone is having a real bad monday. the driver got out of the truck with no injuries, according to the CB radio.
I took the pick with my Galaxy S3 as I was crawling along in traffic about 5 MPH. I did not want to post it from my phone , so I took a pick of my phone when I got home from work.
BTW, that is what's called a jackknife. Have not done it myself in the 15 years I've been driving these things and I hope I never will.
