Meet Shannon. Beautiful girl. Very nice head shot for her portfolio.

Camera & Lens:
Nikon D700 & Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VRII

Settings:
ISO 200, 180mm, f/9, 1/125s

Lighting:
Main Light - 36" x 48" Softbox w/inner and outer diffusion [positioned with bottom edge of softbox at chest level and off to camera left]
Fill - 41" x 74" white reflector [placed just out of frame to camera right with rear edge of reflector even with the back of subject's head]
Background - (2) strobes with wide angle reflectors and silver deflectors [placed just out of frame to the left and right of subject and about 4 feet from the white seamless paper background]

I really like the look and feel of open shoulder portraits. It works exceptionally well with parent/child photos. I ask mothers to wear a tube top and fathers to lose their shirts. It gives the portrait such a more intimate and natural feel to it, especially when it's a baby w/ parent portrait.

Btw, this is an excellent portrait, Robert. Very nice.
