Starter Photo Studio Help

Hello Nikonites,

It has been a while since my last post but I come to the best when I have a question. My daughter has a prom coming up in a three weeks and I am looking to take some photos and also add some gear. I have my eye on the kit below but I need to know if it is worth the money or if i am wasting my time. Please let me know your thoughts.

You get much more flexibility out of flash or strobe lighting vs the "light bulb" studio kits. But the bulb kits are less expensive and usually everything about them is cheaper than what you might want as you expand your kit.

My suggestion would be get another speedlight (or 2), remote triggers and an umbrella w/stand (or 2). Help me Wayne....
