Having the police standing next to you does not give you permission to break the law. She and another jaywalked and got nailed for it.

Looked through the protestor images and I would like to protest how clownish some of them look.

It amazes me when groups protest that it never occurs to them that to be successful they want to look like they are normal reasonable people.

Whole heartedly agree. They want people to side with them but they are their own worst enemies when it comes to portraying themselves.

So I'm not the only one who thinks they should find something more constructive to do with their time? We have an abortion clinic in town. On a certain day of the week a hand full of protesters gather and just stand there with signs at their feet. Not sure what they think there accomplishing.

I am a free speech advocate and while I was playing photojournalist I covered groups that I oppose but they never knew it and if you look through my images you can't tell whom I did not favor.
I would happily cover a protest against me if someone did one.
Kevin Smith joined protesters and bad-mouthed his own movie, 'Dogma'
That's the right frame of mind to have.
