Loved the lighting and lack of color in this room. The building is a part of a ranch from 1848.

Looks great, makes me wish my daughter was home. My boys only like action shots and hate when I ask for the do some test shots.

lighting, framing, color all look good to me.

Nice shot! Like the softness of the light. She really rocks that smokey eye look. And I love the background/table colors.

but for some reason the pinkie gives me the heebie jeebies.

Love the light and the color too :) Imo the skin retouch (or soft filter?) are a bit too much, she almost looks like a doll if you focus on her nose.

But great portrait! Her wondering expression are very good. Is it a setup shot, or did you catch her like this?

It's a setup shot. The softness is to correct for teen-age acne.

Thank you everyone for the compliments.

Very nice!

Diffused window light can be very flattering portrait light as long as you are able to manage the shadows. Often times all you need is the window light as your key light and maybe a reflector or a white wall or piece of white poster board for the fill.
