can firmware be put on an SD

card using Windows 10. I can't seem to do it and just ran across a site that said this feature is not available on windows 10 yet-true or false? Paul

So you can't copy the .bin to the sd card? Or you can't extract the .bin file? I just tried it on win 10. When I clicked the .exe, a little something happened, but no folder left on the desktop as usual and no messages. Then I tried right clicking and "run as administrator". Same, nothing. Then I tried right clicking and "troubleshoot compatibility". Then I chose "test program" . It ran it in windows 7 compatibility mode and I got the folder on the desktop. No issues copying the .bin to the sd card.

I updated firmware on the D750 not long ago using Win 10. had no problems at all.

I would suggest you download the file to your desktop. Then extract the downloaded file to your desktop as well. Then copy the .bin file from your desktop to the SD card.

Fish, how do you download file to desktop, sorry for lack of skill. Nic, when you chose "test program" what did it do?

When you get the program from the Nikon site just right click on it and use the "Save As" link and save on the Desktop

Don, I don't get save as as an option. Paul
