I would take my Nikon 16-85 mm for landscape an dwalk around and the my Sigma 10-20mm for Wide and walk around as well.

If I was using your camera, I'd use a Tokina 11-16mm for wide angle shots and 70-300 for critters! Or I might take my 105mm micro instead of the 70-300 and shoot bugs and flowers! :)

I'm with @Bill16 here. I don't own the Tokina 11-16mm, but do have the Nikon 10-24mm which either would fit in well here for landscapes. The 70-300mm is good for wildlife.

I don't own a Tokina 11-16 mm lens either, but if I were shooting just DX I would likely invest in one for those wide angle needs! But since I'm using mostly FX I have a series of lenses for the wide angle needs! I have the rokinon 14mm, the Nikkor 20mm, the Nikkor 24mm, the Nikkor 28mm and for mildly wide the Nikkor 35mm! The 20 or 24 would be my goto wide angle lens choices for my own FX needs I think! :)

16-35mm/f4 is my goto in full frame, but I can't argue with the primes. :)

I never had a chance to try that lens, and I fell in love with the shots I could get with the primes! Lol How are you liking your D610 buddy? My FX cameras just took over my interest it seems! Using my D300 is more rare these days, with the D700 and D800e to play with! Lol :)
