Key word: For.

The devil's in the details: "Compatible Brand: For Nikon"

For Nikon. Not just Nikon. For Nikon. OEM seller would emphatically state it's OEM or Genuine.

It's a counterfeit. And the nail in the coffin is it's coming from China (Hong Kong, to be specific).

And why would a legit seller have this? : 3.It will be sent out via normal airmail without tracking num. it is not refundable for lost product.

If you want to buy it, make sure to order the D7800 it goes in as well. I'm sure they'll have one of those to sell you.

Stay away.

They're definitely using a picture of a real EN-EL14a, but I would be cautious and compare to what you actually receive. In my experience when the seller puts "For" in the title that is there way of saying "I never said it was genuine Nikon OEM, I said it was for camera x,y,z". Nowhere does it say it's a Nikon battery on that page. Also, this: "Item location: Hongkong, China"

Either way, if you get the battery and it is even slightly different than the pics, ebay will help you get your money back. Just be ready to receive a fake battery for the price you're paying.

See this thread I posted: http://nikonites.com/other-photography-equipment/23024-fake-counterfeit-nikon-batteries.html

Is, in fact, a knockoff BUT they work fine. At least in a D80 and a D5300.
If you want to send a camera in for Warranty repair stick a Nikon battery in it before sending.

Also further to this - you said you had a D3300, but this is for a D5300 - I am not familiar with either of these camera's, but are the batteries the same?
