Need help quick.

My daughter is a senior this year and tonight was her last time marching at a football game. It was senior night and we have a ton of pictures in the camera.
I have a P90 and towards the end of the night I pushed the button to start the video and it locked up on me. It will not turn off or do anything. Will I lose the pictures when the battery dies?
Tomorrow the band goes to state competition. Please help. Thanks

The photos should be fine. The video should just stop when it runs out of time on the SD card or after 20 minutes which is the video limit on most of the Nikon cameras video.

The battery just died and my wife pulled the card and is checking for pictures. Fingers crossed.
