my son is looking to turn pro golfer , he is playing some great courses on the amatuer circuit which i caddy for him at least half the time , we noticed the photos on golf course websites are not the greatest , he was playing in sydney where he came second from 100 on the weekend and the presentations were done by greg norman so a nice result , anyway he was talking to the club president and mentioned that there was limited photos on the course website , he agreed and said they were looking at getting a photographer in to do a shoot , he mentioned me and the club president was exited to have me shoot , i have his card but want to work out pricing beforehand

my thoughts were to explain im shooting as a amatuer and am looking to break into the market soon and ask him what he thinks pricing should be just to see where they value

my thoughts are on pricing for this one is $100 just to shoot to cover costs , and then sell the web file for $50 per file min 3 , that will leave prints if they want them printed

would this be a good way to go? is the pricing high enough or to high etc

appreciate any ideas , im a pretty critical photographer of my own work so i dont expect a thing if i dont get great shots

While I know nothing about golf, I know courses likely generate quite a bit of money, so good coverage could only help them. Your rate sounds fair given the conditions, and you could do well to do maybe 1 year usage on the selected shots and not limit them solely to the course itself- buildings, interiors, whatever they want would be more practice for you.
