Selling through Smugmug

Does anyone here sell images via Smugmug? If so how do you find it?

My collection of shots I'm happy with is building and I'm wondering if it would be worth popping some up for sale. Do you get decent traffic and sales with their SEO service?

Also, is it possible to only sell prints rather than digital download? I always wonder how many downloads are then uploaded for sale elsewhere by the customer... Or am I worrying about nothing?

No SEO service is worth paying for. Not at this level anyway.

If you're going to sell prints, do it yourself and keep all the profit...plus maintain quality control.

I've had Smugmug on and off for 6 to 10 years....I haven't tried o sell trough them...

I have been on smug mug for over a year. I have only made one good sale and several small ones. Right now I just haven't had time to work on it and improve it. I have a number of hits on my site but, not constant. I will eventually look into an easier site to work with. Trying to work my full time job and this part time job is hard.

I've made a few sales on zenfolio, but as said,they eat up the profits. I refer customers to the site for viewing and then sell direct to them. I may downgrade so all sales are direct and the site is cheaper. Foolish on their part to double dip.

I like the ability to set my own prices. Business has been very good lately and the demand is starting yo increase from referrals. Still a part time gig for me.
