Looks pretty good to me, I for one would like to see some eyes and maybe add some de-noise to reduce the grain in the photo. Also what is in the background? I could suggest playing around with coloured backgrounds. We dont have that coloured spiders here.
A subtle vignette might work for this shot (emphasis on subtle) but I didn't apply one. Since I don't have good noise reduction here at the office I just cropped your shot 4x5 and did some minor enhancements:

Beautiful shot Bill. Crisp, sharp detail. Her colors look like she's draped in the Brazilian National Flag.

Where in the heck did you find such a flamboyant subject? Nice capture. The spider with the highlight webbing and dark background is very well done.
About all I can offer is that small things need a very tight capture (1:1 just a few inches from the lens) to show detail.
Cool shot. I think I would crop with the spider down and to the right. That D800E does a nice job!
Very colorful spider, makes for a great subject! I like how the background is out of focus (looks like it might have been distracting otherwise), but also agree with the vignette idea.
I feel like more of the web could be in focus to help this image, but that's my only nitpick and could be just a "me" thing. I don't usually like bug images, but this one is well done IMO.

Bill, here is my personal opinion. I think you went a little bit too far with saturation in order to get the color of the spider. You could have done the same for the spider but not the background.
I took your version and only played with saturation layers to remove the reddish tint of the background. Tell us what you think.
