Learning--

So I attempted to photograph a toddler. Whew, they sure move around alot. Well anyhow, its my first attempt at this. Tried lightroom 5 again. Its still a beast to me. Guess it takes awhile.

I'm looking from phone but from this, it seems you've made some great images I like them, the expressions are very good and I think your edit suits it well.

Yes they look fine to me.
Just keep shooting and processing and it will
be a lot easier.

Post processing is a bear, but your images look very good. Just remember what it takes to get to Carnegie Hall.

Good shots and good editing.

I like the look of the shots, captured the subject well and the editing looks quite good to me. My main criticism is with the composition.

I don't like that the hands are cut off in the first shot, it might also look better with the toddler in the left of the shot.

The second and third shots again would look better in my opinion if he was on the left of frame, giving him more space to look into. It would only need to be subtle change but I think it would help.

I like the lower angle the third shot is taken from, I'd look to replicate that with the other shots too.

Overall excellent first attempt, keep taking pictures and having fun!
