Hi Mai,

The 1st I am unsure of... something about it I like but the hairlight and water are distracting..

The 2nd, sorry but I was not fond of... the shadows were distracting to me and detracted from the beauty of the subjects...

the 3rd... I Love It!! :)

Mai, the first one is great but would look much better in B&W and sepia. I did try it and loved it. I won't post it here but let you try and decide. :) The second one is spoiled by the multiple shadows... Third one is great too because of the feeling of interaction.

Great captures as far as mood is concerned so it's up to you to decide on the color vs B&W thing.

Oh, I forgot to mention the knees in photo #2... They are not very attractive.

Marcel, nice comments, that suggestion for #1 is excellent... That may cinch it for me... :)

I love number 3. The previous two the skin is too harsh/gritty on the older lady. For my taste it could use some softening./smoothing. In the black and white her skin appears creamier/smoother. The kid just naturally has that kind of skin.

Lol, I feel so dirty saying anything but praise as I love your work. Forgive me :)

^^^ Even before I read the other comments, I was drawn to #3. I think it is the interaction of the two with each other that just pulls you in.

Disclaimer: I am really not qualified to comment other than just a personal preference.

Thanks for great feedback! And shut up Pretzel aka mr Pro, lol.

Interesting what you wrote about the skin texture, as I clearly had a different approach to these than normal, I'll try soften it up a bit. I could make it bw, I just liked the colors.

And honestly, anybody can always give their opinion about an image. We all see things differently and we all get blind looking at our own stuff from time to time.

Yes, I've thought of that too, but couldn't get them placed proberly. And I didn't like it when trying to crop them out.

Ill be more aware next time :)

I, too, found the shadows in #2 distracting. I love #1 and #3. I think I would crop off the top and right a bit on #3. As usual, great work! I always enjoy your unique approach!
