I'll comment, but you must remember that I'm probably not qualified. Ha! I think I would have tried to crop off some of the bottom placing the dog and ridge line at the lower third of the photo. Also I think placing the focus point to one side or the other so the dog is 1/3 from one side. I think toward the left side with the dog looking to the right would be my preference. Beautiful work with the creation of the water effect. I like it.

It's a great shot in terms of lighting and exposure but I lose sight of the dog. There's too much sky and water. Try cropping to a 1:3 aspect ratio or simply filling the frame with the dog and his reflection (see attached). Good job on adding the water. Maybe you should do a tutorial on that. image.jpg

First rule of thumb. If you are going to add things to your image like water or replace a sky, don't tell anyone.

Secondly, there is too much water. I would crop it from the bottom up, so that only the the reflection of the dog is showing.

Thirdly the dog is is the middle of the image. Move him to the left. Let me show you what I mean. This of course is only my opinion based on my taste.

Thanks for the reply, I agree with what you have mention, but I was being honest about the water because I wanted feed back on if you thought it was realistically done ? Cheers
