Hi there :)

I am new here, I just wanted to say hi and share this photo wit you all hehehe :3

It's gonna be 3 months since we moved to our first ever house and I found that near us there is a lot of farm land and horses :)

This one here was kinda "kissing" my hand when I got distracted with a phone talk

Got to go with Ron on this one. Missing to much of the horse. YOu don't necessarily need to see the entire face but either the ears or muzzle needs to be shown. Eyes in there with either choice.

It is interesting but I would have liked to see a little more of th horses' face.

I appreciate your opinion, to be honest I have never shown my photos to other that aren't friend or family (that is cuz most of my photos are to show them my new life in the UK)

I was pretty close to the horse, and I was using the 40mm lens (i wasn't planing to see horses really) I manage do other photos but for some reason I liked that one hehehe I love its fringe :3

I have this one too but I found it too boring. What do you think? (The path was very close to a busy street and Horse moved close every time I tried to walk away lol)

P.S. Is there any size I should follow in order to post photos? I couldn't find the post about rules to post photos. *blushes*

I like the second photo better, I know what you mean about following you though, horses just get closer and closer until they are almost licking you!

With animals (And people!) focus the camera on the eyes, and try not to clip the top or bottom of the head or face. I know what you mean about the first one, the perspective is great - If the horse is near by, why try again and go for the full face before he gets too close?

These are a nice start - Keep trying, because the problem with animals is you can't direct them to do what you want... You have to work with what they give you!

I like artsy look of the first photo. Depending on the context and what the photographer is going for, one doesn't always have to follow "the rules."
It would have been cool if in the second shot, your subject would have glanced your way just a bit.

And I agree with the glance my way.
