Young Fisherman

Hey guys,
I'd just like some feedback on a photo that I took in Bali a few months back. I was strolling along the beach as the fishermen were hauling in their catch and this little boy was trying to sell some fish to tourists so I decided to take some pictures. This is one of the few I took.

This is one of my favourites though because it shows the contrast between the locals and the "wealthy" tourists that holiday there. The way the boy holds the fish as if it's nothing whilst the man holds it at a distance. The fact that the young boy is quite skinny whilst the older man is not, also helps to show the contrast between the two.
Maybe it would be nicer without the people in the background?
Those are my thoughts anyway.

I like the photo a lot, including the crystalline look of the surf, but the people sitting on the beach in the upper right are a bit of a distraction. Unfortunately if they're cropped out, the photo loses some of the beach needed for good composition. At least with a b&w photo you needn't worry about the passerby who wanders into a scene wearing striped pants and checkered shirt in neon colors.

I think the people in the corner add to the story, gives the viewer more info about the scene. My opinion.

Slightly cropped and framed, and the white line in the upper region gets hidden; people in the right upper corner somehow distract attention, so yes, you could have cropped them out too:

I agree, crop the couple out in the top right corner. Distracts from the picture if you ask me.

I used the healing brush and the spot healing brush in PSE10 to remove the background people and the white stripe at the top. I didn't apply any crop though.

I do like some of the edits other members have done, too, so you need to decide which one works best for you.

I didn't even notice the stripe at the top. Amazing what other people pick up on.
I like hark's edit with the couple Photoshopped out. Thanks for all the feedback and ideas.
