Horizon
Hi Everyone
I am new to the forum and this is my first post. I have only had my Nikon for about a month and recently went on a road trip from Palm Springs to Las Vegas and took some photos along the way. I was aiming for an endless seam of road - zen like in a way I guess. I was inspired by Robert Franks highway photo in The Americans and had this in the back of my mind when I took it.
Camera Nikon D3100

Re: Horizon
You must be having a problem uploading the photo. IT is not showing up. In the last set of icons above on the right. Click on the middle one. It says insert Image when you hover about it. Find the file on your computer and click upload. Also make sure you have re-sized the photo to a size that fits. I use 800 or 900 pixels. that usually works pretty well. You should be able to edit your post to include the photo.

Re: Horizon
If you have (and you should) Nikon View NX2, it can be used to resize your photos for forum use. Just make sure you save it as a COPY and not overwrite your original.

Re: Horizon
On the road again.
Just can't wait to get on the road again.
Cool Shot. I don't think Virginia has any roads that are straight for half that distance.Mike
You can save a lot of money by walking face-first into a spiderweb every morning instead of buying coffee.
