Rain Sleeves?

Hi All,
I am wanting to get a rain sleeve for my kit as a lot of my lenses aren't weather sealed - Primarily, the 55-300mm. I'm off to an outdoor event in a month that I'd like to photograph regardless of the weather.
Given the price range of these sleeves (£5-50 UK pounds) are the cheaper ones worth the money? I assume you'd use them once or twice then replace them, or are they not worth even that? Does anyone own a sleeve that they can recommend? As I said, it would primarily for my D7100 + 55-300mm.

Ta!

Don't spend a ton on money on this... The ones I have cost me about $5 for a two-pack and have lasted for ages. We're talking about a drawstring plastic-bag here, not some miracle of technology involving carbon fiber nano-tubes and unicorn tears. In a pinch I've crafted my own from kitchen garbage bags and rubber bands and they worked as well, if not better, than the ones I paid real money for.

EDIT: These are the ones I'm talking about: Op/Tech Rain Sleeves
....

I've got a couple of OpTech ones that stay in the bag for Airshows. Not been in a position where i've really had to use them yet, thankfully

I have both the high end "good" ones and the cheap ones. I prefer the cheap ones. My high end ones are considerably stiffer and more durable making the use of the camera difficult. If I were hiking through the brush I would use my high end ones, but that hasn't happened to date.

Thanks everyone, I will look at the Op-Tech ones as I have seen them on Amazon already at a good price.

Thanks again,

Do those cheap ones extend enough for the Tamzooka to stay dry?

I was looking at something like this Tamron 150 600mm Waterproof Camera Lens Rain Cover Black Green OR Camouflage | eBay
I'd mostly be using it at home for shooting birds. Even when the rain stops there is enough dripping from the trees to make you think it is raining

Sorry for the late reply Vixen! I ordered the Op/Tech ones, and they fit lenses of up to 18" L x 7" Diameter (45,7cm L x 17,8cm Diameter) - They are huge, but have a cut-out for the viewfinder which is part way down the length - If they let you cut your own viewfinder hole, they would fit much bigger lenses!
