Yeah, that's the first thing to check with printers. It used to be a rule of thumb that the cheaper the printer, the more it cost to run (ink carts), dunno if that's still true.When i'm looking for a new printer, I also check out the price of the replacement ink cartridges.
I remember once buying a Lexmark printer, It cost more to replace the ink than cost of the printer.
