The Fotasy strap is a Black Rapid like strap for about 1/4 the price. I picked mine up on Amazon for just under $19. The seller, Rainbow Imaging appears to sell various Fotasy branded items on Amazon & eBay, which I can't seem to find anywhere else. I'm guessing that this is their brand name. Although, I see that Amazon is also selling the strap directly.
As pointed out in this thread, the strap is strikingly similar to the Focus strap, which costs a little more, and this unnamed strap. I highly doubt that these 3 straps were made by different factories.
Note that this strap is definitely not made by the same people that make the 'Q strap' and 'K-strap'. The material, clips, and camera attachment are different.
Anyway, the Fotasy strap is remarkably well made. The heavy stitching on the main strap is secure.
The D ring and camera attachment are solid.
The plastic clips on the strap are heavy and solid
There are clips that keep the extra strap tucked away.
The under arm attachment is stretchy in one part to accommodate for movement.
My only concern here is the stops on the main strap to prevent the camera from sliding too far back or forward are plastic. I'm thinking they could break with prolonged use and an extra heavy camera. However, I'm pretty sure these clips are plastic on just about every strap out there.
(apologies for the crappy product photos - I could do better, I just did them quickly)
