The other day, because the weather has been so crappy here (cold and windy), I got bored. So I decided to make some photo equipment gear. I had this old mic stand and a roll around thingy (for lack of a better term for this thing :) ) and put together a rolling light/reflector/clamp/....whatever stand.

I also had an old desk lamp that I got free off of Kijiji and mounted it to a light stand. Works pretty slick. :)

Yeah, I've always enjoyed coming up with ideas on making life easier. :) It's even more fun to make things that work....that you can use. :)

Not to get too technical, but that looks more like a whatchamacallit than a thingy. Or at best, a gizmo.
