Dear Team

just wanted to understand which filter I must procure for my 18-105

Hoya 67mm Circular Polarizer Filter OR Hoya 67mm PRO1 DIGITAL Circular Polarizer Filter

What would be cost difference

what is the additional benefit of Pro1 Digital - is it worth to buy?

welcome, i have the hoya nxt. It does the job for me. suggestion: get the 72mm version and a 67-72mm step up ring. As you add to your lens collection no need to buy a cp filter $$$ for each different size lens, just get a $ another step up ring.

I'm currently using this Hoya CPL filter and I like it a lot. It polarizes as well as any other filter I've used but allows more total light to pass through so you can shoot with a little faster shutter speed. Having tried one for my 18-105mm I now want one for my other lenses as well.

Pro1 gives you a little more polarizing effects.. plus a little better coatings, hense the price difference. I'd go with the Pro.

Good advice.

My biggest lens has a 77 mm diameter. I got rid of some of my smaller filters and bought various step up rings and just got the larger size for all of them. The one drawback if you use a ring to step down to a smaller size is that you can't use the lens hood with a larger filter on it so choose wisely.

I have the Hoya Pro 1 CPL and I'm very happy with it.
