As a hobby i do a lot of landscape photography and have just recently transition to SLR Digital and I shoot 95% of my pictures in the mountains so I have a hard time with the sky being washed out and vise verse of. So I wanted to get a Gradual Filter to help correct this and I have always used the round filters but after doing a lot of research everybody recommends using the square Gradual Filter.I found this one at Hitech 85 ND Gradual 85/84 size camera filters with HD84 holder package It is the whole kit.The Wyndham Digital Hitech 85 ND Gradual Filter Package, includesHitech 85 ND Gradual camera filter,or your choice of any Hitech 85 ND gradual 110mm long filter 1 Wyndham Digital HD84 Type 3 Plastic Filter Holder 1- Wyndham Digital HD84 metal adapter ringin the size you need. from 49mm to 82mmHas anyone use this? what do you think of it? If I go with this one I was thinking about getting the 0.6 soft

First off, I love the name you've given them - gradual filters. That name makes good sense to me. I don't know anyone who has used this specific brand but these I've got to believe it'll work just fine. Typically people get the whole set including the soft and hard but you gotta start somewhere and the 0.6 seems like a fine place to begin. Ideally you would want this filter system to be compatible with the Cokin system so you'll have more options when you add to your collection.

Btw - welcome to the board! And if you do go with this system please lets us know your thoughts on it.
