iPhone 4s

Moved up to the new iPhone 4s with its 8mp camera. It is better than most P&S cameras I have seen. Still like my Nikon better but I have the phone with me all the time. Great backup

What's your take on the battery life of the iPhone 4S? I've read a lot of complaints that it doesn't last long.

If I use it like I used my 3s then the battery life seems to be a little better. The problem is that with all the fun new toys built into the 4s (like SIRI) then people tend to play with their phone more. I just figured out that in the text mode I can press a button and talk and it will type for me. Pretty good voice recognition as long as you speak just a little more careful than normal. I am southern and it does prety good with me. The Canadians and yankees might have a little problem.

I have an Iphone 4 and I love it. I switched from Blackberry Bold to the Iphone 4 this past March. Best move I ever made. Battery life on the this phone is good, but I have friends with the "S" and their battery doesn't last as long - mostly because they are using it a lot more. Same goes with the Samsung Galaxy S II - horrible battery life compared to the Iphone 4. In order to get Max life from these "super phones" you have to shut down the locations, WiFi, Bluethooth, use it in 2g etc, so what would be the point. Just use it and have a charger handy.

That's a great shot, especially from a phone. Is there any post on that at all? From what I have seen, the 4S has a great camera, built in HDR, burst shooting, etc. One of the guys I work with has really gotten into the iphoneography and you can even get cases to mount slr lenses on for the iphone. I have an 8MP camera on my Samsung Droid Charge, but it takes nowhere near as good shots as this one or some of the others I have seen from an iPhone 4S.

I use my phone alot every day. Text from work, Facebook all day. I Also use the calendar alarms for all the things I have to do at work. So many of the things I do have to be done at an exact time like satellite feeds of different shows I have to download for later playback on the network. So my phone is fairly heavy use. Right now I have 19% charge left but I go to bed in less than an hour so it will go back on charge all night so the alarm will wake me up at 3:30am to get ready to go back to work. we have 1 3GS, 2 4s and my new 4s. I like all three but the 3gs slowed down a lot once the new 5iOS was loaded. That is the main reason I updated to the 4s.
