Need challenges

Over the past few nights sitting here I have been thinking that my photography has become stagnant and that I need to revive it.
In this process I have been looking at images and youtube videos of other photographers that make my work look ordinary.

Over the few months maybe years I am going to concentrate on pushing my limits and creating scenes and ideas that stand out.

I will of course be approaching you all here for comment and critique, now the hard part. To come up with ideas for future photoshoots.

Photography is a personal thing. Hope you find what you're looking for.

Maybe your first challenge should be something that is not your favorite subject or style.

I just visited your website to see if I could think of some ideas for you. Your photos are terrific. Good luck pushing that envelope... lol.

I am always looking for new ideas, thats part of the fun of photography....

I already have an idea which I am hoping to get done next week

Your Iceland idea is a good one, I wish I could afford to go there for a whole month.

I may reduce it to 2 weeks and spend 2 weeks in Lappland with a mate who lives there

Mate, I think your images rate well above ordinary, but I also get that we can be our hardest critics. You already scale across multiple styles of photography: landscapes, wedding, macro/wildlife. Keep finding new styles to work with, and then I'm really looking forward to seeing how that pushes your landscape or wedding photography to a new level with out-of-the-box thinking from your other styles.

You live in one of the most fantastic places in the world. And you travel all over the globe. And you are running out of ideas? I'm not sure I can help you. You have talent in most areas of photography. Perhaps you need to take the batteries out of your cameras. Relax, and look at things without looking through a view finder. You'll find a new approach if one is needed. Cheers..
