Ok I just bought this.

All-Season Pro DSLR Camera Backpack | Lowepro | Whistler 450 Camera bags, backpacks and rolling cases

Biggest thing was that it was 45% off cost :) so saved $200AUD

Even if you bought one. Look into this guy down the road. Bit pricey I don't like dragging 30 pounds of gear.lightweight much as possible and durable I am picking when it comes to bags.Lol also I don't like bags that get in my way.just a suggestion down the road. I recently got a Lowepro Protactic 450aw. Super tough and holds a ton of gear. I love the 3 access openings and the slip lock and molle straps. You can see in the pic that I did go a little overboard on the attachments.

I bought that very bag based on the high number of fantastic user reviews but only used it for about a week before ditching it... So I *was* disappointed with it. There are a couple design features in particular that I couldn't get past. The first is that the zippers for the main compartment don't go all the way to bottom which means the flap is always trying to flop closed and has to be held open if you want to put the bag flat on the ground. I had to chuckle watching the guy in the video demo the bag; he had to keep it propped up at a 45 degree angle so you could see the inner compartment without the flap falling over. That was the real deal-breaker for me. I got tired of fighting the main compartment. They could easily cut the zippers a couple extra inches while curving them inwards, toward the center, so that the main flap would lie flat when open, but so far they haven't. The other thing that annoyed me was that the sling at the top won't accommodate a camera body with with a grip attached and some of my most used lenses, like my Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8, wouldn't fit in the sling. It's a very well made bag, and I wish more bags had the sort of tough, rubberized bottom this one does, but it's definitely not the right bag for me.

yeah your right but its not that big a deal , the advantage of the bottom base outweighs the flap i have no problem accessing my gear , i dont like the hammock i pulled that out and i can fit my d7100 with any of my lenses now , not sure about with a battery pack i dont use one

there isnt a camera bag that suits all but for all my gear its flawless for me , i hold the flap up for a second grab what i need and it falls back into place

nice compact bag that holds heaps
