A camera store in the greater Philly (Pennsylvania) area is running some specials for the holiday season. Because of MAP (the pricing that manufacturers allow to be displayed publicly), they can't post their prices online. The store is Allen's Camera in Levittown. Jared Polin (Fro Knows) used to work there. I asked them how it would work for people who aren't local, and they said people would need to call the store as the prices can't be displayed online. Their phone number is at the top of the page linked below if anyone is interested.
Anyhow, Black Friday is Full-Frame Friday, and all full-frame cameras are supposed to be discounted.
Tuesdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas, all f/2.8 zooms are on sale.
Thursdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas are Third Party Thurdays where all third party lenses are discounted (note they are closed on Thanksgiving).
And Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas are Switch it Up Saturdays where they are supposed to offer a little extra bonus money towards trades. Trade-in's are good for store credit only or towards a store purchase if I remember correctly.
Whether or not their prices will be any better than prices elsewhere, I don't know but wanted to share in case someone finds a good deal.
