SoCal Fireworks Recommendation?

Reaching out to any SoCal folks. I'm going to be in the Huntington-Newport-Laguna beach area for July 4th with the family and looking for recommendations for best spots for fireworks. I've been heads down in a datacenter move (just finished day 1 of 3 and too wired to sleep) and haven't had much opportunity to search. My wife is thinking about getting tickets for Huntington Beach - I believe they are for the pier. I understand that Laguna is crazy busy. Any thoughts or recommendations?

Well first of all you're talking about fireworks on the 4th of July on a beach in SoCal. That means pure Pandemonium. But, you know this and you've been preparing yourself mentally, physically and psychologically for the past several months. Now you're at your peak and prepared to do battle (think: "THIS... IS... SPARRRRTAAA!!!"), so we can move on.

I suggest you Google "Heisler Park" in Laguna Beach, CA. Some great fireworks to be had there every year.
