A shoe and boot addict

Well NAS is not my only addiction any more! I've been a big fan of boots and Tony Lama cowboy boots my favorite brand lately! But now my wife got me back to collecting Nike shoes again! I use to buy just Nike shoes and then I went to boot since they last longer and I was living in the mountains! But now I have started collecting Nike again, and my lame excuse is they are better for summer! Lol :)

So are you a shoe horse too, or did you escape this particular addiction! Lol :)

Later I may start posting photos here of the new to me Nike's ! Lol :D

I can't join ya in this love, Bill. I buy shoes for utilitarian purposes (best fit, expected life, cheapest price) and wear 'em until they practically fall off my feet. I can post a pic of the Bates tactical boots I wear on the bike to prove it if ya like. (FYI, those things are comfy and last FOREVER)

Those are some bright red shoes, btw! YOWZA!

2 pairs of athletic shoes. 1 white and 1 black. 1 pair of dress shoes reserved for funerals and wedding. Anything else get the athletic shoes. I used to keep 1 pair of hiking boots but I can't hike anymore so they are no longer on the list. And the most important shoe in the house is the house shoe. They get lots of use.

I love boots too!

Have 3 pairs currently but need more. I tend to wear them out before acquiring more...

Redwing steel toe work boots

Thorogood work boots

Military boots (tan, light gore-tex desert looking ones)

Then just a pair of plain running shoes (camo...because camo is awesome), dress shoes and sandals.

Really want to get a couple good pair of hiking boots (Military ones work good for warm weather but they are getting worn out)

Stock photo (they are currently soaked in water on the deck drying so I didn't want to shoot them)

But I think these boots are great, can walk in water pretty much to the top of them. Foot can breath great in them and they are really light. I picked them up at a garage sale for $5. The guy had multiple pairs but only one new pair :( (I'm weird about used shoes)

I have more than a dozen for sure and less than fifty I think! Lol ;)
I don't mind previously owned shoes and boot, but they need to be in good to awesome shape! But I always wear socks and I never wear socks used by anybody else! Lol :)

Your boots look similar in style to my West Coast logging boots! Best boots for the woods I ever owned! I do have some mountain climbing/hiking boots and they are extremely tuff but heavy and hot for summers here! Lol

The basket ball shoes I showed here are my brand new, and the wildest colored/coloured shoes I've owned! Lol but I'm married to a hippy and she loves colors, but normally more colors than I can stand on one piece of clothing for myself to wear! Lol Though she looks great in her outfits! Lol :)

All I wear are (semi) tactical boots. Currently I own two pair of Magnum Spider Elite which are lightweight and pretty comfortable but not very protective for the rougher environment.

This winter I'll get something heavier.

I must confess, I too am a bit of a shoe/boot collector. I have actually lost count, and hubby says I would rival Imelda Marcos. I will leave it to you boys though as I think I would win with my collection lol
