Don't Be THAT Guy Next Time You Go Out To Shoot

Before I left Prague this morning, I went to the Charles Bridge at sunrise. I was pissed to see this gaggle of photographers acting as if they owned the bridge. The reason for the post is to gently remind each other to be a bit more aware of the impact and impression we leave as photographers. Jake would have been proud as I briefly walked in front of them to take my shot.

Why would you want to take the same picture as everyone else? To me it's all about unique angles and perspectives, I don't want to duplicate everyone else's pictures.

Lol! I can't speak for @BackdoorHippie but I sure am proud of you! ;) Now I wonder how many photos of you will show up in their Facebook time lines! :applouse:

Maybe I don't understand what you're saying. Are you mad because there are others who want to take a sunrise shot on that bridge?

Sorry if I was unclear. I was angry at the attitude. They were blocking other people from walking across the bridge and if they stopped to take a picture - especially casual non-DSLR users - they were b*tching about how they were ruining their view. You should have seen how pissed they were when a cop car drove across and made them scatter. LOL

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought there might be something more to it. I probably would have said, "Excuse me ! I won't be long. Only need one shot";)

I find such people everywhere I go.Sunrises , Sunsets and Birding.
I always think these are the crazy ones(in a bad way).mostly wanting to post on FB or something. No respect to others around or even the wildlife.

Europe has a completely different mindset on personal space and their right to make theirs wherever they want it. Not sure why I got singled out. ;)
