This seems like something that could go in the "almost" thread, but that's in the wild life forum, so I thought I'd start this here....

It's salvageable, but I had to share the story of how this got crooked. We were standing in the road in front of the monument, in the parking area on the right side (if you're not familiar with Gettysburg, PA, it's a park road - lightly traveled, low speeds). My wife was driving the D7000. We waited a few moments for some people to get out of the foreground, and as she was firing, a car drove by behind us, and a dog in the car barked at us, making us both jump! This was the result. :D

So, my wife got a crooked picture of a monument that doesn't move. :) It was just a funny story that I had to share. :)

 Still your wife managed to take not that a bad shot! credits to her.
Hope she was able to take right images later on (after the card and dog was gone)

No, this was it. The Pennsylvania Monument is one of the busiest in the park, so finding it empty is pretty difficult. As soon as it happened, I kept saying, "Take the shot take the shot take the shot!" but it was too late, someone wandered into the picture. (I know there are people in the top of it, but they're a lot less obvious than the ones walking around on the ground or even in the first level.)

(We don't have any neutral density filters or Photoshop to do that 'average' trick to remove people. We should get some neutral density filters - we live in DC and there are ALWAYS people at the monuments. Though, a picture of one of the monuments without people would look kind of weird.)
