Interesting Kickstarter: QromaScan - smartphone print scanner

Pretty interesting Kickstarter called QromaScan which combines software with a LED lightbox to scan prints. The app uses voice control to tag your images and build EXIF. Neat idea and I did back it in Kickstarter-speak. More info here.

I use a free app called scannable. It does not have voice recognition but works for me.

The way kids do EVERYTHING with their smart phones these days, that's a good idea. Didn't read the link you provided, but just seeing the pic I see even lighting and an easily discernible background for cropping afterword... seems well thought out! Wonder how it stands up to folding away and being rebuilt over and over?

Hmmmm, i think Apple patented the voice function to tag photos with Siri a few years back. Can anyone say if this is an actual production function with Siri now? Seems like what they are selling here, is a fancy little light box. Cute idea though.

Nikon's D3 had voice tagging way back in 2007.
