My wife has NAS

My favorite wife and I were shooting with our camera club on Friday and Saturday. We were at Little River Canyon today and my favorite wife walks up to me and tells me she NEEDS another lens. She wants a macro.

I think I will tell her she needs to upgrade to a D7100 to use a macro so I will give her mine and I will get the D7200. Wonder if I can get buy with it?

Favorite wife?!?!? You have more than one wife?!?!? Lol :p

Let her play with your D7100 a bit my friend, and then maybe she will add that to her NAS needs! Lol :)

Well favorite wife is #2 wife so calling her the favorite does actually mean something. Not a lot though. I hated #1 and have not seen or heard from her for well over 40 years

Here I thought it meant you lived in Utah and had Wife Acquisition Syndrome. :)

the "new macro lens" only comes on the D7200, so if she really wants the macro lens you gotta do it, you will need to sell her D7000 to part fund it. tough old world.

One thing I did learn this week is that the D7000 does not have the "Auto" Shutter speed that is tied to the Auto ISO setting like the D7100 does. That was a little disappointing. She shoot with a 18-200 and that would have opened up a little slower shutter speeds or lower ISO for her. She it not into changing any more settings than necessary so I have set her minimum shutter speed at 1/300 under the Auto ISO setting. This gives her more consistent results.

I wish our spouses have a positive and supportive attitude such as yours Don.
