Bokeh

Sitting in the lounge a minute ago I realised something.

I had been reading and decided to give my eyes a bit of a break so I took my glasses off; that's when it hit me!

I almost jumped up and ran down the road shouting "Eureka, eureka" but wisdom told me that posting this would get the message out quicker and avoid the possibility of running into anything or anyone.

You see ... my entire world is in Bokeh without my glasses. :joyous:

Are you saying you have f/1.8 vision?

No, I think he is saying he has F0.0 vision. Everything is out of focus.

Or is it 2.8

LOL nothing at all wrong with my vision. I like to think of it as having an artistic slant.

But heres the thing.

I see a shot right (with glasses on)
Memorising what the main subject looks like in focus I can then remove my glasses and visualise the broken effect. By squinting my eyes (effectively changing the f stop) I can vary the degree of bokeh and decide what would probably look best.

Glasses back on I now turn to composition.
