Not having a car can give you a few challenges

A few days off work, so I thought it was time to update my computer, and replace the case, all the small items could go in the panniers on the bike and my backpack if need, 12 mile round trip, and made it ok. this was the bike when I got home.

And spend this afternoon building my new computer(with a couple of bits off the old one) Just have to tidy all the wires up now.

I guess if you live in a big city with mass transit you could do without a car. In most of the south you have to have a car. First off it way to hot in the summer to ride a bike almost anywhere. Some days it gets up to close to 100° with 95% humidity. You would die riding 12 miles. Also I love my cars to much. This is the first time in years that I only have one car and my wife has her car too. In my younger days I would have many cars in all stages of restoration.

And most importantly, I am way to old to ride a bike anymore.

Nothing better than the smell of fresh heat shrink, Power supplies melting in and of course chemicals (darkroom flashback) , what are you building?

We pedal everywhere (doctor, dentist, small grocery items, etc...), even in the summer. Brought home a large toaster oven a few months back.

I was only doing about 15 miles a day in the summer because of my blood pressure meds. Back up over 20 miles now that the weather has dropped to the high 80's.

You're never to old to ride, you just need the right bike Don.
