I am AZ bound in a few weeks

I am hoping to start in about 2 1/2 weeks at a hospital in Springerville, AZ. It is a small town and a small hospital but I will be working for my old boss there. He is a traveler too but will probably sign on full time. And the best part about it is there are ROADS in and out of this place and Phoenix is not all that far away. I will be driving my Jeep there and taking one of our cats with me for company. Currently the temperature here is 78º and partly cloudy, in Springerville it is 69º and clear and the Alaskan Axilla (armpit), Barrow is 27º and SNOW. Eff that noise!

The town is surrounded by mountains, there is great hunting up there and lots of nature photograpy possibilities. The nice thing about taking my own vehicle there is I can load it down with all of my photographic gear as well as my hunting gear.

They are all 13 weeks but you can extend up to twice. If I like it up there I will definitely extend once. That will net me enough to get that 800mm f/5.6 ED-IF AIS I have been a wantin' for quite a spell!

Welcome to AZ. Springerville is a fairly nice little town and lots of areas around for some fun opportunities.

It looks like my timetable has been shortened by 2 weeks. They want me to start this coming Monday. I am running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get everything done before Friday morning when I am going to leave.
