Which is the most popular camera on this forum?

Not sure it this was discussed before. Can admins access some statistics for the forum members? This information is stored somewhere, as most of us declare the camera(s) owned. It is just a question of getting it out.

I'm just curious: which is the most commonly owned camera body among Nikonites?

i would think it would be one of the "dx" cameras. Just more affordable to the consumer.
It still maybe possible on flickr to see which nikon is the camera with the most posts.

My guess is that the selling camera store would surely say the least expensive model is always the most popular.

And on Facebook and Twitter, compacts and cell phones surely win. :)

But the photo forum attracts enthusiasts, which gives the top models more consideration.

So, it is D7000. Quite logical. The more recent D7100 needs some time to grow. And as Wayne said, this forum attracts enthusiasts, but not with infinite budget, so a mid-range camera is the most popular.

Amazon rates their Best Sellers (by total sales) and the numbers are updated hourly(!).

The list is for DSLR's and appears to excludes mirror-less format.

The first Nikon to show up on the list is the D3300 in 6th place followed by the D810 in 8th place, the D3100 in 9th place, the D750 in 11th place, the D5300 in 13th place and the D7100 in 15th place. The D5200 and D5300 round out the top twenty spots at number 19 and 20 respectively. Those numbers are rounded out with, obviously, Canon offerings.
