If you can just choose only one type of photography, what kind of photograph would it be and why?

I would choose City Photography cos of its magnificent variety of different scenes.

Just got the idea that this is going to be my new project. Michael's City Photography ;)

Well I do what I love. photograph weddings. sure it gets tiring once in a while. sure its repetitive sometimes. but I believe in love and marriage and even though statistics are at 50% divorce rate I dont care. doing it for so long you can see which couple will make it and which wont.

the one I did on monday, they wont. the bride is a bitch witch and controlling. hes a nice guy and its only a matter of time till he will be fed up with her crap. even the guests stayed away from her.

I also love stills photography. products, food. architecture. mainly, indoors.

I have only really just started out in photography, so can't really say which one subject I would pick.

But saying that, I do like taking pictures of flowers, so much colour, you can take pictures of a bunch of flowers or just single one, practice your depth of field. And a easy subject to start with.

I would choose portrait. But not the in studio norm. Something about shooting someone in their everyday life and getting that "moment" shot. Something that when you show it to them it takes them back to that moment. A shot that emotionally hits them.

I'm going to say "Nature" and leave it at that. It encapsulates so many other subtypes, but I could never dial it down to just one of those. If I had to then I'd likely sell everything and just go with "iPhone Selfies" like the rest of the world. LOL

Definitely Night time photography as there is so much to shoot when the sun has gone and it finally gets dark. Which is far to late in the UK at this time of year. In fact as the sun doesn't go 18' below the horizon it doesn't get officially dark at all.

I've always practiced photographing anything that moves, unless it refuses to move and then I take the picture anyway.

But in the spirit of the question, the answer was immediately upon my mind and it is people.

My preference would be landscape/scenic views especially if there is water involved. :)
