Get a Black Rapid instead. :)

The original strap is not user friendly. It is difficult to remove before you place your camera in the dry cabinet. I wonder why didn't they have some quick release designed.

I've searched high and low for a decent quick release and wound up making my own for about $6 per camera.

The Domke already has a quick release for the neck portion, which you can also see, and it worked fine when I wanted it to go on a tripod, but this is head and shoulders above. I've had one on each of my cameras for almost 1/2 year with no issues.

Yes, that is a great idea. I have also used those clips that come with the computer laptop bags. They are plastic and would not scratch the camera body. Ideally, the manufacturer should design something and make it look more professional

Oh my dear, my apologies. What I meant is modified didn't look good as compared to the original. While it is practical. How could I use the word professional, bad choice of word indeed.

No worries - my laughing at myself was lost in translation. I haven't looked professional since, well, ever. LOL
